Looks like markets are off to the races to start the week, and Apple is up about 2% today. For anybody who’s interested in all things Apple, the new iPhone should be introduced tomorrow. I’m not really a phone person myself. I use it for texts and checking Bloomberg quotes, that’s about it. Honestly I would be just as happy with my old iPhone 3s, but I guess everybody wants the latest and greatest so we’ll see what Apple has in store for the next generation.
I often get asked if I own this stock or that stock, or what do I think about buying XYZ stock. The truth is, I haven’t really owned any stocks for at least 6 years now. Well, there’s nothing wrong with quadrupling an investment, but hindsight is always 20/20 and had I held on to it all the way until today it would be worth nearly 2 million dollars, and that’s not including dividends.
So yeah, buy and hold isn’t my style 🙂 I stick to what I’m good at and don’t really worry about what could have been…
